Besides this, the engineer is also responsible for future deployments of the business application on this infrastructure. The engineer operates according to standards and guidelines as defined within the organization, such as architecture principles and mostly works in a project team led by a project leader. Other disciplines in the project team are a solution architect, an application user and representative of the run organization. Responsibilities: Installing and (technical) configuring the application in Windows environment. Submitting changes to firewalls, loadbalancers, etc. Configuring authorization model (Active Directory, connection with SAP IDM, etc). Documenting installation, configuration, etc. Handover to Platform Operations RUN organization (operational management). Participation in project meetings.
